Exclusions to Warranty Coverage
The warranty will not be applicable in the following scenarios: (a) Products marked as “sample” or “Not for Sale,” sold “AS IS,” or sent to you as “prototype”; (b) Products purchased from unauthorized distributors or resellers; (c) Tampering or removal of trade-marks, serial tags, or product stickers; (d) Dismantling, mishandling, improper use, or defacement of products; (e) Damage resulting from accident, abuse, or service or modification by someone other than Fire Safety Store, or damage arising after the warranty period; (f) Damage caused by an improper working environment or operation, such as inappropriate temperature, humidity, physical or electrical stress, electrical power failure or fluctuation, static electricity, or use of the wrong power adapter; (g) Damage caused by not following the safe handling and usage instructions supplied with the product; (h) Damage caused by force majeure or natural disasters; (i) The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Return & Refund Policy
Product(s): Our utmost priority at Fire Safety Store is to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchases. In the event that a product does not meet your expectations or is defective, we have policies in place to cater to your needs. You can request a refund, exchange or repair based on your specific situation.
Accessories: If any of our accessories fail to meet your expectations, we offer a replacement or full refund at any time. We will bear the freight charges for the new replacement item only. It is still your responsibility for returning the product(s) back to our dedicated address if required after evaluating of your claim.
*Orders that are in the processing phase, on hold or have already been shipped out (with a tracking number or a completed order status) cannot be cancelled. If you must refuse delivery due to unforeseen circumstances after the package has been dispatched, you are subject to our return and refund policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for the original shipping charges, which will be deducted from your refund.
Change of Mind
In the event that the product you purchased directly from Fire Safety Store does not meet your expectations or is not suitable for your particular use case, and it has been confirmed as not defective, it is categorised as an unwanted product.
Should you choose to do so, you may return the unwanted product (Product for Refund) to Fire Safety Store for a full refund or replacement within 30 days from the delivery date, unless otherwise specified in the product listing on our website, receipt or packing slip. You will be responsible for the shipping fees associated with the return. Please note that refunds or exchanges for “change of mind” beyond the 30-day period are not available.
- It is returned in the same packaging as provided by the manufacturer.
- All the original accessories, documentation, and standard certification labels are included in the returning box/parcel. This includes, but is not limited to, listing marks, capacity, brand name, and product codes.
- Shows no signs of use and is free from any type of damage, including but not limited to dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement, or damages resulting from power surges.
- Good shipping protection is used and is packed securely to avoid potential damage while in transit.
*The value of a replacement upgrade must not exceed the original price of the returned product, otherwise additional fees may be applied.
Ownership, Terms and Risk
Fire Safety Store is an online shop. Orders can be placed at any time. There are no shop opening hours. We sell and deliver in Ireland only. Delivery is €6 including VAT, and free when the goods total is €60 or more. Orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the next day. Please allow up to 3 days.
Please ensure that the address details you provide are correct, as we are unable to redirect parcels once dispatched. Your order will be dispatched only to the address given at checkout. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of the address provided. If an incorrect address or fraudulent transaction results in a loss, you will be solely responsible for that loss.
Do not provide a PO Box address.
Orders that have been shipped, and for which you have received the tracking number or the order status is completed, cannot be cancelled. If you refuse delivery after the package has been dispatched, you are subject to the return and refund policy, and the original delivery charge will be deducted from your refund.
Prices include 23% Irish VAT. VAT is not added again at checkout.
When your package is delivered, you should check it. If you are not there at the time of delivery, you may receive a notification from the courier. Contact the courier to arrange another delivery. If the goods are returned to us because they could not be delivered, we may ask you to pay the return charge and a further delivery charge before we send the item again.
You are responsible for checking that the order is complete and undamaged when the goods are delivered. Please inspect the goods for any visible damage before you accept the delivery. If there is damage at the point of delivery, you may refuse the goods and tell the courier why. If you sign for the goods as unchecked, you accept that the delivery is complete.
If a product is not available when you order, we will contact you by email or telephone within the same or next working day. We will tell you the estimated delivery time. If that is not satisfactory, you may cancel the order and we will refund you in full.
After a successful order, we will email you when it has been dispatched and provide a tracking number where the courier supplies one. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 48 hours, check your junk or spam folder and then contact us.

Our liability to you
- We are not an insurer. Fire safety products do not guarantee that a fire will be prevented, detected, or put out, or that loss or damage will be avoided.
- If we are held liable for loss, damage, or injury caused by a defect in a product, or by our negligence, our total liability will not exceed the price you paid for that product, except where Irish law does not allow that limit.
- We are not liable for special, consequential, or indirect loss, or for economic loss, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been told that such loss was possible.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish law.
Your obligations
You must use, store, and maintain the products according to the instructions supplied with them.
